چکیده
In flotation process, the efficiency and selectivity depend on mineralogy, particle size distribution liberation, reagents added, mixing, coverage. However, kinetics of recovery is highly dependent cell hydrodynamic circuit configuration operational strategy. Controlling froth depth gas flow rate, measured as superficial velocity, a straightforward alternative related to in collection zones. these parameters are not accurately. Froth measurement based floating device coupled with sonic sensor; this presents hysteresis deviation due variation holdup pulp density. self-aspirated machines, there no technology measure velocity. To address problem, intelligent online dispersion sensor two concentric HDPE cylindres proposed. The cylinders. methodology improves accuracy velocity calculation new algorithm. pressure transducers, reducing uncertainty 1 cm. Pulp bulk density directly measured, can be estimated. Experimental results industrial validation indicate that system (Jg) self-calibrate, 2% error, error being ±1 Therefore, multiparameter for measuring cells was experimentally designed validated an environment (TRL 8). context, proposed emerges robust improve operation process.

ESTIMATION OF GAS HOLDUP AND INPUT POWER IN FROTH FLOTATION USING ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK
Multivariable regression and artificial neural network procedures were used to modeling of the input power and gas holdup of flotation. The stepwise nonlinear equations have shown greater accuracy than linear ones where they can predict input power, and gas holdup with the correlation coefficients of 0.79 thereby 0.51 in the linear, and R2=0.88 versus 0.52 in the non linear, respectively. ...

متن کاملFroth flotation of phosphate rock
The development of froth flotation is traced from its earliest-known use through the discoveries leading to the present knowledge of the science. The factors influencing the flotation of non-sulfide and non-metallic minerals are discussed, and the machines used in commercial flotation operations are described. Experimental work on the flotation beneficiation of phosphate rock is presented as an...
متن کاملThe Effect of Superficial Feed Velocity on the Column Flotation Recovery in Comparison with the Conventional Flotation Cells
Flotation is the most important process for concentrating mineral ores. This process may occur in any vessel such as column flotation, which has been used widely during the last decade and the conventional flotation cells. The effect of superficial feed velocity on the copper recovery was investigated using pilot-scale column flotation of "Sarcheshmeh Capper Complex". The results were compa...
متن کاملHarvesting of algae by froth flotation.
A highly efficient froth flotation procedure has been developed for harvesting algae from dilute suspensions. The method does not depend upon the addition of flotants. Harvesting is carried out in a long column containing the feed solution which is aerated from below. A stable column of foam is produced and harvested from a side arm near the top of the column. The cell concentration of the harv...
